NWT Seniors’ Society

Northwest Territories Seniors' Society
The NWT Seniors’ Society is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1983 under the Societies Act of the NWT.

The Society provides information, acts as a resource and support for seniors and elders across the NWT. The Society is the only voluntary agency representing the individual and collective interests of all seniors and elders in the NWT. You may be a voting member of the NWT Seniors’ Society when you reach 50 years of age.

Yellowknife Seniors' Society - About the Society
The Yellowknife Seniors' Society is a non-profit organization established in 1992. We manage the Baker Community Centre on Franklin Avenue (50th Street) in Yellowknife. Membership is $10 per year.

The Society offers social, recreational and educational programs for Seniors six days a week, at the Baker Centre and at other locations in Yellowknife. We also provide up to date information of interest to Yellowknife Seniors (50+)  and their families.

Volunteers are always welcome. Volunteer for the Board of Directors, or give some time to the Baker Centre - it's sure to be appreciated, and you’ll enjoy it too!
